Financial
partner: John F Long Properties LLLP
In 1954 John
F. Long began the most ambitious project of his career. His idea
was to not only build a tract of houses in a specific area, but
to include provisions for schools, churches, hospitals, shopping
centers, and parks. Long created the state’s first Master
Planned Community. Named after his wife, Maryvale was an instant
hit. Applying the same mass production techniques to
homebuilding that Henry Ford had used in the automobile
industry, Long was able to offer a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house, with
swimming pool, for less than $10,000. Soon houses were selling
at the rate of 100 a week, an average of six months before
completion. And so began the company which is now known as John
F. Long Properties LLLP.

Environmental engineering partner: Evergreen Engineering
Evergreen
Engineering, Inc. was incorporated in 1985 and has been in the
same location in Eugene, Oregon ever since. Evergreen
Engineering LLC was formed in 1998, with roots extending back to
1986 and is located in Hillsboro, Oregon, a suburb of Portland.
Collectively, the two offices are known simply as "Evergreen."
Evergreen's Eugene office grew out of the forest products
industries (wood products and pulp & paper) that were
predominant in the Pacific Northwest many years ago. The
Hillsboro office (and its predecessor) has served the
high-technology industry for the past 15 years. As early as
1986, Evergreen began to diversify into other industries,
including metals (steel and titanium) and chemicals (adhesives).
This diversification continued over the next few years into
power and energy systems, especially as related to utilities for
industrial plants. Evergreen has always strived to anticipate
new technologies and industrial trends, and to be prepared with
the tools and expertise to meet these challenges. Evergreen
initiated its own research of alternative emission control
technologies to be prepared to offer industrial clients the best
technical solutions.
