Greater Flagstaff Forest Partnership

The Greater Flagstaff Forest Partnership (GFFP) is an alliance of over 20 environmental and governmental organizations dedicated to researching and demonstrating approaches to forest ecosystem restoration in the ponderosa pine forests surrounding Flagstaff, Arizona.

The Partnership's three primary goals are to:

• Restore natural ecosystem structures, function, and composition of ponderosa pine forests.

• Manage forest fuels to reduce the probability of catastrophic fire.

• Research, test, develop, and demonstrate key ecological, economic, and social dimensions of restoration efforts.

Arizona Forest Restoration Products is an active member of the Partnership's Partnership Advisory Board (PAB), and contributes to the work of the Partnership's Utilization & Economics Team (UET).

Northern Arizona Wood Products Association

The Northern Arizona Wood Products Association is an industry association designed to assist those interested in providing solutions to the care and use of the small diameter trees of Northern Arizona. Members include artists, craftspeople, manufacturers, producers, sawyers, mill operators, distributors or anyone who derives a substantial portion of their livelihood from adding value to small diameter wood.

The association' goals are to:

• Advocate for businesses and individuals that make a living adding value to small diameter wood.

• Create and retain jobs in the wood products industry in our region.

• Promote partnering and collaboration among users and consumers of small diameter wood from our region.

• Encourage a regional, cooperative perspective & approach to addressing small diameter wood issues.

• Support and encourage use of small diameter wood
